A simple question

On Monday afternoon I could quite clearly see Delia and Michael watching the same game as me. Yet on Tuesday they authorised expenditure of ?450,000 on Dickson Etuhu. No City fan I have spoken to, or whose comments I have read on this board and several others can understand this. Neither can the Preston fans who have commented on him. Neither did the management of Everton FC, who looked at him and didn't sign him. So my question to the club is this: "What exactly did Delia and Michael see on Monday afternoon that persuaded them to spend nearly half a million quid on Tuesday morning?"
