I'm not sure I'd agree with that, I think the board took the decision based largely on the worrying downturn of results since October and also consultations with the players.
I just don't think after back to back 5 - 0 home wins fans were on Neil's back as such.
It was a realisation from the clubs hierarchy that they needed to act in terms of the manager position before it was too late. I.E. last seasons decision-making
Stats wise it is hard to compare first 30 games with managers who had very different squads at their disposal and some at different levels.
