Hughes, for example. You could (almost) see the logic in him providing the legs to a quality player...who never materialised. And then you get a sinking feeling that Worthy thinks that *he* is the quality player!

Peter Thorne might make sense if we didn't have Dean Ashton...and old head to teach Ryan Jarvis his trade. But we still have Dean Ashton...and suddenly Peter Thorne is our second-choice right winger (WTF?!)
