Trouble is who buys the players

It would appear to have been 'the football board" ie Simmons & McNally . Would probably explain why players came in & weren't played. Doubt if Adams had that much input apart from saying I need a centre back & a midfielder. Can't see him having scouted Miquel or Ofoe
