Should a convicted rapist, even though he 'protesteth too much', be allowed back into the position of being a role model to children and young adults alike. I say young adults as most actual grown-ups wouldn't put him on any kind of pedestal anyway....he ain't that good.
May as well do the bloke a favour and let him retrain in another profession. I mean, give him a few years and he'll be playing in local Sunday leagues followed by a further decline into obscurity as he realises coaching kid's teams isn't quite a pathway he could follow.
Point him at his local job centre and let him build another life from scratch. I'm sure if he's as innocent as he asserts that karma will kick in and he'll have a successful life....just not as a role model for youngsters.
