Mixture of pity and of justice being seen to be done re Holt today
No-one can the deny the value of his contribution to the club, but the Burnley thing and the attitudinal failings he showed over the last couple of seasons meant that it was right for him to go.
The fact that he was being talked about for England evidenced how out of hand the love affair had become.
