My view on the players is they're the symptoms of a rudderless shambles

No leadership off the park begats no leadership and no leaders on it. No leadership, vision, inspiration or proper decision-making off the park begats the same from the manager, and the same from the players.

It's the same at almost any club: everything starts at the top. We've seen that in both directions at NCFC over the past decade. The board got ruthless, went after their man, backed him and the sky was the limit; the board went back to their old weak, soft, dithering ways, so the club's spiralled downwards. And is still doing so.
