I'd say he will go for ?7m

'tis a lot of money and more than his 'real' worth. We all know he's that valuable to us, but in today's market, he's worth much less than that really. If we left it unitl the summer and were still in championship, he would ask to leave and we;d be lucky to get ?5m.

If we did sell him for ?7m I'd like to get someone such as rasiak on loan till the end of the season, when we can reassess, rather than wasting it all on div 1 journeymen.

Ashton will go to Man City/Birmingham for ?6.5-7m. FACT
