That's two things. Question is how strongly they're correlated, of course.

But even if they are very correlated, question is whether one causes the other, or whether there's some common factor that drives both. That's the behavioural thing you want to get at.

Maybe I should estimate a big model that drives to identify that common factor.

Problem is a lack of data though.

Maybe I can estimate a model with data from different leagues in different countries that gets round that.

You know, it probably all comes down to productivity in the end.
