Ashton and all that
The will he won't he speculation about Ashton's short term future is very understandable and given his recent comments, I think he may well go in January.
There have been a lot of posts about his possible destination, the likely value and how much Worthy will have to spend. I have one big fear however. What if Ashton finally goes during the third week of the month? Given Worthy's usual sloth like movements in the transfer market, would this leave him enough time to bring in adequate replacements?
Methinks not. Our season will rapidly fall away and will finish mid table. I think the Board would be happy with this because it would leave the money in the bank.
