You can pretty much google without fear of spoilers

because they haven't finished recording yet and it's all still unraveling.

So you won't get anything saying 'OH HE WAS INNOCENT AFTER ALL!' - but you may get information about what was revealed in the latest episodes.

There is a subreddit devoted to Serial, where people are picking it apart, which is semi-useful to read when you are up to speed, particularly for background reading on the mobile phone tower evidence stuff in later episodes
