Turner needs a more mobile partner alongside him, which is why we have persisted with Mart
in, in the event of Bennett's injury. The other CBs, with the exception of Miquel all seem to be in Turner's mould; hard, strong and with the turning circle of a small planetoid. The absence of Miquel, who has experience of the champs is another question that needs to answered.
I don't see the LB spot as a problem, Olsson is capable but seems more focussed on getting forward than defending.
RB has been an unadressed problem for the last few years now. Whittaker is too attack minded and Martin too ponderous against the livelier wingers
