Brief review of the beer festival, for anyone who gives a s**t.

Seems busier than usual this year. I've not seen a queue like that for a Tuesday lunchtime session before, but maybe that's the nice weather.

Beers good as usual. Tried out the Marble as mentioned below, I would suggest drinkable in good quantity but as I was with Mrs APB and wanting to have a mixture of various beers I left it at a half. She had a Wentworth Bumblebeer (a honeyed golden ale) which was very nice. Amongst others I had some Beeston Afternoon Delight (blonde and quite sweet), Colchester Metropolis (tasty bitter), Lacon's Falcon (dry and pleasing) and Winter's On The Beer City (popular, nearly run out). There were a couple of others I can't remember and a couple I tried to have which weren't on which was frustrating so I'll have to go back tomorrow. Shit. Surprise beer of the day was what she finished with, which was Samuel Smith's Organic Cherry from the bottle tent. Ladybeer it may be, but it was gorgeous.

Good s**t.
