I wouldn't say we were really. We are now in the league below, and the only 2 major loses
were Snoddy and Fer.
I sincerely hope it's not history repeating itself. I just remember back to those interviews with McNally, saying they weren't concerned because we were playing quite well and still creating chances and the time to panic would be when were no longer creating chances.
That was the defence of Hughton, the thinking at the time and why we stuck with him for far too long.
So what do we do? Just keep going on game after game following the same pattern, with the same results and just putting it down to bad luck?
If it's just constantly put down to bad luck, forget changing the manager, for the time being, first foremost the problem isn't being addressed. If Neil has the ability to recognise that it's not just bad luck, and change things then good. If he thinks we are playing well and there isn't an issue, well imho, it won't bode well for him or the board.
If us the fans can see it, one would that if Neil doesn't see it himself, the board do and they have a meeting with him.
We can't have a situation week after week, where teams sit back, we can't break them down, so try and commit more players forward and get done on the counter & ending up drawing or losing.
