thoughts from the game

1) we should have got something out of that, though in the end we probably didnt deserve to. first half pretty abysmal, far too many suicidal/brainless passes in dangerous positions that ceded them the initiative
2) we must have someone else who fancies themselves to take penalties. hindsight is wonderful but that was just plain bad, and the one he missed earlier in the season that he scored on the followup wasnt all that convincing either.
3)our delivery at set pieces is pretty woeful all round
4)murphy, if fit, should be starting games. he's frightening
5)i'm a casual matchgoer rather than a die hard but i go to a few games here and there... but i am now 37 years old and am still to see norwich win away at a level higher than league 1
6) the mass exodus from the front few rows of the neutral stand when it drizzled gently for about 2 minutes was one of the most pathetic things i've ever seen
7) i hope craven cottage sinks into the mud
8) i just burnt my tea
