more out of laziness, but I like the guy's logic.

Come to think of it we rarely lock the house when at home / taking dog for a walk. And even when it is locked, there's probably an upstairs window open with a massive ladder propped invitingly against the side of the house... oops.

One of the advantages of living in a nice area (and probably more crucially, not reading the Daily Mail) is that you don't tend to worry about all of this stuff.

Shrug. Crime is falling. It's safer now than when I was a kid.
