What is it about my bathtub that attracts FUCKING MASSIVE spiders? 3 mornings this week

I've caught a great old hairy f**ker of a spider just standing there like he owns the pissing thing. The other 2 were humanely despatched outside but I'm thinking of squashing this one and leaving its corpse on display as a warning to any others that are thinking of squatting my bathroom
