Formally, no it isn't. However you could just turn up and wear her number - there's nothing to identify it as a "female" number and I've known this to be done by others. Of course your time will show under her name but I doubt that bothers you. I've run it twice now and am hoping for a place next year (the post hasn't arrived yet). I'm very, very slow.
