my point is that johnson is more 'proven' than ashton

top english scorer in the premiership last season, (is that right or have I made that up?), already capped for england.

I just think he will be seen by premiership clubs as less of a punt. So they'd spend more on him, so he's 'worth' more.

Not saying necessarily that I'd rather have him to Ashton. Just that I think most prem clubs would.
