Nwcastle are making a profit every year, so therefore Ashley is laughing, all the players they buy are identified as possible money earners by selling them on.

The only problem for Ashley is if Newcastle get relegated then he might have an issue. If he sacks Pardew it will cost the club money and the new man will presumably want a much higher salary than Pardew.

Ashley knows that the Geordie fans wil always turn up and pay money to see their team and all buy the shirts etc so it doesn't matter if he pisses them off.
