Said he was all set to become assistant to Gunny in 2009 but Sky vetoed it.
He originally went for an interview with Paul Ince with a view to him being his assistant if he got the job but (in his words), Delia gave it to Gunn but then rang him asking if he'd still want to be assistant. Sky wouldnt let him as he had a contract at the time.
