Canaries track striker Noel-Williams
Norwich manager Nigel Worthington has said he is interested in signing Burnley striker Gifton Noel-Williams.
The 25-year-old is seen as a natural replacement for the departing ?2 million rated hitman (pictured) Dean Ashton. The Swans boss says Noel-Williams would be an asset to his squad.
"He's strong, holds the ball up well, has a good touch and competes well in the air," Worthington told BBC Radio Norfolk.
"The times we've been watching him he's been a sub but come on and looked quite sharp, so he might be an option-we're looking for someone to get onto the end of a few long balls and put himself about a bit."
Worthington has also ruled out making a bid for Swansea striker Lee Trundle.
"They're asking upwards of ?500'000 for the lad, and we simply don't have that sort of cash" Worthington added.
