I could have knocked up a 9 hour 90s playlist, but it wouldn't have had Dubstar, Apollo 440 or The Fall on it, because the first two I'd never have remembered, and The Fall I just do not f**king understand.

And that's what I've enjoyed most about the playlist - a lot of it is stuff I liked 20 years ago but have completely forgotten about - it's a nostalgia trip.
