I'll give you a few examples

Last season I saw a tackle by Gavin McCann on a Bolton player. It wasn't that bad, but wasn't great, yet three bolton players crowded him and wound him up, till he hit out at them, just some silly slap, but it got him sent off. Bolton will have been well chuffed with themselves that day

I always had full belief that they wouldn't win that competition because of that

I always had a feeling Arsenal would win the fa cup this year basically because of the s**t that went on at Old Trafford, and the smug grin Fergusons had all season getting six points. Arsenal had their day though, finished higher and won a trophy

Chelsea kicked off in europe and subsequently a referee resigned from the game. They then fouled a goalkeeper to go through to the next round. Even with my normal theory about things coming back to you, I thought this one was a tester, but Liverpool put them out. You could say that it was liverpool getting their just desserts from that crazy handball in the league game in January

Equally, Liverpool got through with a lucky decision, and have done for the past couple of rounds, and its time that pattern turned around and they saw the otherside of it

We got a lucky decision and a pen in our game at Brum, yet a week later we got nothing from an official when we had scored a perfectly decent goal, and had two very solid handball shouts

Thats what im talking about when mentioning patterns, you reep what you sow

Laugh at me all you want, I have tonnes of these examples and they often right
