You call them 'bbc hating tories' when the government funding is higher for the beeb than other worthy organisations. The main income for the beeb, the licence fee money is set by the government. Hardly actions of a body who hate the beeb.

The beeb decide what they spend the money on, and they're chasing ratings with dumb downed tv. Their choice.
