Why is Redmond rated so highly - just doesn't do it for me.

I know he's only a youngster but in all the time he's been a Norwich player I haven't seen any improvement. When he arrived I was excited. Plays a similar role to Hucks but not even close. He picks up the ball and instead thinking skin him I just groan inwardly. I wonder if this will go in the lower or upper tier. I'm hoping with the influx of midfielders he will go and use proper wingers and get the ball in the box. He done it yesterday but too few IMHO. Do many people think this way?
