I would definitely sell for 9 million

Is he likely to improve dramatically and be worth more than that in a few seasons? Possibly, but that's not guaranteed. Maybe this is as good as he gets? It's a huge sum for someone whose all round contribution could probably be replaced at a fraction of the cost.
