my worry if that happens...
is that at his age he won't be putting verything into a hard 46 game league campaign. In fact he might be saving himself for the international games (much bigger than games v Crewe etc). In which case his whopping wages would be much better spent ona couple of younger, hungrier players who WILL give 100% every week.
