... we'd have stayed up. Last six games to go he FINALLY picked the side the fans had been crying out for all season - we lost one of those six games.

Worthington cannot get it into his thick skull that being a footballer isn't just about hard work and running around like a headless chicken for 90 minutes. E.g. he is constantly slagging off of McVeigh - he obviously doesn't realise that a more skillful player can make the ball do the work for him. Worthington harps on about him drifting out of games - well perhaps he should try playing him in position then. Is he a right winger - No.

Oh - and as for not having much of a chance last season - Wigan are showing what a team can do when the manager has a clue.
