All very well, except

I find it a bit hard to be soothed by him off of on there. So soon after he spent all last season saying that those who were worried about Hughton, and the direction the club were going in, were wrong, worrying about nothing, making a fuss etc.

Of course he might be right this time.

But it has such a similar tone to last year's stuff. And it's sprinkled with the 'in the know from the club' stuff ("MyFootballWriter understands that Pilkington has been angling for a move out of the Fine City for over a season"..."for the record it?s closer to ?2million than the ?1.25 that has been reported").

It does have a sense of being a club / McNally mouthpiece (or just very complacent). Just like it did last season.
