he had no previous experience as a Manager, Asst or 1st Team Coach.....

the youth cup is one thing, but managing the first team in the 4th or 5th biggest league in the world with no prior experience is a total leap in the dark. At least Lambert and all the other mentioned lower done had either lower league experience or had been Asst's or 1st team coaches.
The only managerial; decision more baffling than us appointing NA, is Leeds appointing the guy from Forest Green Rovers.
For me the board have compounded that fact that they sat on their hands while Rome burned by appointing NA permanently. I can understand them giving him the job as caretaker for the last five games of last season (where he mad some baffling tactical decisions by the way), but having been relegated we needed a new broom to sweep away the malaise and hangover of the Hughton years and relegation and I'm afraid for me NA is not the right man.
I wish him well, because I always want my team to win, but the signs from his first six games are not encouraging.
