you can't help but wonder when you see everything that's happened in the last six months, was everything he seemingly stood against just five years ago.

You could possibly argue that there are strong mitigating circumstances that may have affected his thinking and judgement. If that were to be the case, I'd find that totally understandable.

However, he's been an excellent Chief Executive for the club... and alongside Bowkett, has ensured the integrity and financial security for years (and possibly generations) to come, and that our club remains at the very heart of its community. As a fan and supporter, that's as much as you could ever wish for.
