I get the impression Martin has probably been an important link between Adams and the squad. He's regarded as one of the senior players and I reckon one of Adans first moves would have been to get him on side and to buy into his regime. It would not surprise me at all if as part of that process Adams has promised to give him a run in what he says is his favoured position.
