I feel sorry for Neil

I understand that he had to take the opportunity, but there wasn't really a worse time to start your senior management career. A beaten team with emotions all over the place and general unrest, then in comes some guy with no experience or respect, expected to somehow reverse the malaise.

So he'll be the scapegoat and then get the sack in a couple of months time. We'll end up continuing the relegation hangover and probably end up around 14th. That's the reality check.

I can honestly see someone like Warnock coming in with his experience and Championship kknowledge to steady the ship. I'm not sure it'll prove succesful but I can definitely see it happening.
