As somebody who accepted NA as manager what

worried me most today was the lack of urgency from the players and they really didn't look up for it. Watched Blue Scum yesterday and technically and tactically they looked poor but McCarthy certainly had the competing and fighting which ultimately won them the game. We just didn't have that same tempo and tenacity. Not sure about two players. Elliot Bennett. Never understood the love in with him. Never seems capable of beating a man. Russell Martin. Poor centre back and woeful in the air. Surprised when NA made him captain and worried me at the time because it set the benchmark of the level of player we're supposed to accept. Of course has to play him now so at least put him at full back.
