For somebody who will do a variety of cycling (Road, trail, light/medium mountain biking)
What would you recommend? Can 1 bike do all 3? would I need two bikes? A road bike and a mountain bike? What about a hybrid. Would it better to spend a lot on 1 hybrid bike?
Cycling novice, I wouldn't be doing serious mountain biking, just more than trail riding on occasion. I'm assuming it would be pointless buying a road bike, hybrid and a mountain bike?
