Just got back....

...

Without a doubt, our best performance of the season and three points thoroughly deserved. We looked like we played to our capabilities and the fact that Dean Ashton scored a hat-trick reflects that.

Opening 10 minutes was quite frankly, crap. The turning point was when Andy Hughes went off, Dickson Etuhu came on and our Midfield started to look organised, cohesive and decent.

Second half was superb - if not frustrating. If hadn't been for Anti Niemi's sublime goalkeeping, Saints could have conceded 6 goals.

Was it a turning point? I'm not sure. Today was convincing, but it will take more than a mere 3 - 1 demolition of Southampton.
