good game today - first win in 14 games for me!

yes my record now is P15, W2, D7, L6 - awesome stuff

Anyway thought once Hughes went off we were much better. We don't have a lot of width down the right but at least we were solid and passed the ball. Thought Safri was very good, don't recall him misplacing a pass and Huckerby, McVeigh and Ashton were excellent upfront. I thought it made such a difference to have a player like McVeigh upfront who can drop off a bit and do something with the ball and it really helped Ashton. If it wasn't for Niemi, could have easily have been 4,5-1. All the same a good, enjoyable game but not going to get too excited, I remember Wolves and Coventry away this season!
