Yep, it really is very good. Walkable from the Arndale (20 mins ish).

Akbar's over the road is a really great curry chain (pretty sure they've a few in the Yorkshires).

If you're around into the evening is worth heading down to The Curry Mile in Rusholme (past the Uni on Oxford Road and keep going).

Mughli is just wonderful.
