As a city it has never really filled me with awe. Im sure its great if with a group and primarily drinking etc but otherwise not sure.
There are some lovely old georgian buildings, great restaurants and the river is nice but depends what you want. Nice hotels around St Stevens Green and the museums are an easy wat to kill some time. Celtic peat bog kings are good at the national museum, others are near Merrion Square.
Also the Guiness brewhouse is ok for a walk and a beer.
Its probably the MOST EXPENSIVE city in Europe though!
