I think the methodology behind that survey is very weak

Taking the cheapest and most expensive season ticket prices in isolation doesn't even tell half the story. Off the top of my head, it doesn't show the price evolution, concessional discounts (a big factor at a club like Norwich I would suspect), and distribution of tickets available across that range. Then there are the qualitative aspects - is it not to be expected that a club that has just been relegated after several seasons in the Premier League would charge more than club who have spent the last few in the Championship on the heightened expectation of footballing success? Of course you're right that there's an emotional side to this; no one wants to feel like they're being exploited by a club that in most cases they haven't explicitly 'chosen' to support. However, I don't think this is a strong basis on which to make such a judgment.
