Wrath cyclists
Following up from my post last week, I followed the Norwich swarm route this weekend.

Lovely route, roads compared to Surrey were in good condition and very little traffic to worry about.
Ride until Stalham was fairly quick, easy miles. Going out to Hickling and then north west up the coast was a killer, just a wall of wind to contend with. Combined with a very warm day, it really took it out of me. Had to stop in Bacton to refill the water and take on some gels. Once the ride turned south the wind was with me and the return to Norwich picked up in pace.
Quite different from riding in the alps, but Norfolk has it's charms. Loved the small, undulating and traffic free lanes, cycling through broads, open fields and through tiny villages. Hopefully will get up for some more rides soon.
