Am in Rio at the mo, and one of the guys I work with was saying that loads of Chile and Argentina fans have driven here without hotels and have been sleeping on the beaches (without any facilities). Many have now been moved to a 'semi-organised' locations near the Rio carnival route which has some toilets/showers they can use. Apparently they've left sections of the beach in a bit of a state.
