Give me some more detail.

When did you buy it? If you've got any of the original paperwork see if you can find what % growth assumptions they used.
Also, there may well be a big difference in the fund value and the actual encashment value.
If it's worth f**k all due to the performance of the fund, then you've got no case. If you can demonstrate that there may have been a more appropriate option at the time, you may have a case.
