I find, with podge in the microwave, that you have to watch the bleeder like a hawk

lest it bubbles up over the edge of its vessel, and makes a mess.

Far easier to just whack it in a pan on the hob. Fill the pan with water immediately after dishing up, and it washes up a treat when you do the dishes after brek.
