Bought a dog today..advice needed
She's 15 weeks old and has been used to sleeping on the bed with her previous owners.
We don't want her sleeping on ours so she'll be in a room downstairs overnight.
On the basis that I presume dogs fall into a routine too, if we persist with the whining, door scrapping, howling and barking for a few days will she calm down and get used to it?
Obviously not particularly nice hearing her clearly not happy down there at the moment, but any tips on how to settle her in at nights would be really appreciated.
We were told she'd be tired tonight and she's been hyper all evening since we got her home at 8:15. Just as well I've got no work til Monday!
Cheers in advance for any help!
