Despite recent events, our club is in a very good position

The next couple of years with the influence of FFP on clubs are going prove very interesting, and I think we will thrive because of the sound financial position of this board has put us in.

I look at Southampton, lost their manager and will lose the best players in the next few weeks. I don't envy them. I look at QPR who are likely to be hit with a very large fine and will no doubt spend big to try to finish in the top half. I look at Leicester who are going to spend ?180m over the next 3 years. For what, a good cup run? Finishing 8th? And is ?60m in transfers and wages enough to get them above 15th?

This coming season is going to be very interesting and I, for one, am really looking forward to it.
