was a massive shock for me going there. He was the lynch pin centre midfielder at Seville, as well as Chile

I think Tan wanted him more than Malky, and wanted to show the prem he was going to finish 4th with his fancy signings

When they didn't work out, Tan blame the lot on Malkay
