I don't think he's a great manager

but think he is a very safe bet for a team towards the top of the Champ/bottom of Prem. Bouncing straight back up with West Ham is a decent achievement even if it was via the play offs. Plenty of other big/rich teams have gone down and not made it back up.

Stylistically he's obviously not the most exciting, but then neither is Mackay.
