Does selling RvW actually make any financial sense in the summer?

Surely his market value will have plummeted compared to what we paid (8.5mil?) as a result of him most likely being widely viewed as a premiership flop now...

Wouldn't it be more beneficial to see what he can do in the champs lge to boost his chances of repairing his reputation to some extent and also giving us the chance to sell him on in future if necessary closer to what he cost us?

Just a thought... otherwise selling has somewhat of a fire-sale feel about it
